WHO WE ARE
London Freedom FC is more than just a football club - We are a community. We are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, can come together and enjoy the beautiful game of football. We strive to promote equality, respect, and acceptance both on and off the field, and to be a positive force in our community. Through teamwork, friendship, and a shared passion for football, we aim to break down barriers and foster a culture of diversity and inclusivity in sports.

London Freedom FC is deeply rooted in providing football opportunities for all abilities. We promote healthy competitive football that strives for excellence on and off the pitch. We promote continuous development and learning amongst our members.
Our
Club
London Freedom FC was formed by a group of friends in 2023.
We wanted to create something really special, where togetherness, inclusion and passion were at the heart of our football club.
In our inaugural season of 23 / 24, we entered into various competitions across the country.
We entered into the London Unity League, the only 11-aside LGBTQ+ inclusive league in the world which is hosted within our home city of London.
We also entered into competitions organised by the Gay Football Supporters Network (GFSN) which spans the entire of the United Kingdom, travelling from Swansea, through London, Glasgow, Leicester, Newcastle and Nottingham.
In our founding year, we also sent teams from the club to compete abroad. We played competitions at the Queer Games in Cologne, Germany and also at the Gay Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Our History
Our successes throughout our first season solidified our club's intent and togetherness. To offer a safe space to pay competitive and inclusive football at all ability levels.
Throughout the season we progressed in the London Unity League which saw us winning the division title in our first year, with an amazing 31 points from our 12 games which now sees us promoted into the top division for the forthcoming 24 / 25 Season.
We also had great success as a club within our first GFSN season, reaching the shield final where we were unlucky in a tense penalty shootout that saw us as the runners-up.
We’re hugely excited to continue this success into our forthcoming 24 / 25 season where we will be playing across various leagues and divisions to give our members a whole host of footballing opportunities for all abilities.
